Mathematical analysis

People in Department of Mathematics solve actual problems related to differential and difference dynamic equations and systems. We are interested particularly in

  • differential and difference equations of even order, espacially oscillation and conjugation criteria,
  • qualitative theory of Hamiltonian and symplectic systems,
  • elliptic partial differential equations,
  • mathematical biology and bifurcation theory,
  • finite element method.

Original results are published in peer-reviewed impacted journals. We have fruitful collaboration with Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University.
